Synopsis : Writer and celebrated sexual adventurer Anais Nin (Maria de Medeiros) embarks on a passionate affair with controversial American author Henry James (Fred Ward) as he attempts to complete his first novel, 'Tropic of Cancer', in early thirties Paris. James' enigmatic wife June (Uma Thurman) forms the third point of a love triangle that is documented in explicit detail by Nin in her diaries.
