Synopsis : Double-bill of Jodie Foster films. 'Mesmerized' (1984), is based on the true story of an orphaned 18-year-old girl (Foster) who marries a much older man. However, he constantly abuses her and keeps her under his thumb until, using hypnotism, she kills him. In 'Five Corners' (1987), a tale of life in the Bronx during the 1960s, four old friends meet again when one of them is released from prison.
